A combination of teaching sculpture, drawing and small metalwork ignited Heather’s creativity and led to the development of her current conceptual jewellery pieces that explore issues around family, attachment and communication.

 

Heather uses personal hand written miniature letters with silver and wax seals. These intriguing delicate objects entice the viewer and raise issues of emotional hoarding and tentative relationships within family units..
